Took me a moment to figure it out. I hate cutting watermelon, so this is a helpful tool. Only suggestion I have is to put instructions on or in the box. Just cut the watermelon with a knife. There are a lot of positive reviews here. Most of them are not verified purchases. I liked it. Once I figured it out. I don't recommend it for a mushy melon as it had trouble gripping one of the ones I cut. Also I had an issue with juices flying around. I found it kinda mashed and mushed the fruit rather than making good cuts. I also found it more work for worse outcome. I think one of those .... you know .... Work great for me!! This is a pretty cool little gadget. It keeps the mess to a minimum and also really helps you to get the most out of your watermelon. It worked great! Have not had chance to use watermelon slicer but know it will come in handy. Fast Delivery. Thanks. Wow!!! Worked great, can't wait til summer!! This will get quite a workout! Garbage.
