I have a regular pan to make soft boiled eggs but it was always a pain to get it out and use if for just one egg. I loved using this! I have mixed feelings about this. It works well in the microwave but for some reason the timing is different every time. This doesn't work well in water. It just floops. Awesome egg poachers......quality silicone construction.....they work great and make excellent poached eggs..... Works great! I am on a diet, so instead of using real eggs, I'm using this to microwave eggbeaters. It works great, don't get me wrong. Eggbeaters seems to stick to the inside a bit. Cool concept, but so wide that you cant fit many in your pot. Surprisingly, you DO need to add butter/oil to surface... These work much better than the last egg poachers that I bought. These are more solid and the curved edge makes it so water doesn't get in and collapse the poacher. Great product! Works great!! I use it everyday!! These little items are the greatest! I set them in a deeper frying pan with 1 1/2 - 2 inches of water - (after I've sprayed with cooking oil) - then I add my egg - It's so nice...
