Microsoft Store is taking preorders for the Microsoft Xbox One S 2TB Launch Edition Console for $399 with free shipping. Even though that's list price, it's the first preorder we've seen for this newly-announced version of the Xbox One. The console is 40% smaller than the current model and features 4K Ultra HD video and Blu-ray support, High Dynamic Range, streamlined wireless controller, integrated power supply, IR blaster, and a vertical stand. This console is scheduled to ship on August 31.

Of note, there will be 500GB and 1TB versions following later in the year at $299 and $349, respectively.
